iOS 13: By now, we have all got familiar with the fact that Apple announces a new iteration of its mobile operating system (iOS) at the WWDC event every year. We are expecting the same to happen in 2019 too. The Cupertino based conglomerate is expected to announce the iOS 13 at the WWDC event scheduled for 2019 followed by the release of a couple of beta versions of the platform for testing by app developers and users alike. These beta versions are made available before the actual stable version to get valuable feedback from developers and users about performance, stability, and various other parameters. Thereafter, Apple will probably release the stable version of iOS 13 in the month of September alongside the launch of its next-generation iPhone and iPad models.
Since Apple is more focused on bringing performance and stability upgrades with the iOS 12 as the previous iteration was riddled with bugs and security issues, we can expect the iOS 13 to bring those new features which were originally scheduled to be rolled out with the iOS 12.
iOS 13 Release Date: When Can We Expect it to be Rolled Out?
Since the stable version of the iOS 12 is yet to be released, it would be hard to predict the iOS 13 release date. However, if we follow Apple’s launch history for all the previous versions of the iOS closely, we can clearly see a pattern. The company seems to prefer September as the month for its big reveals related to the iOS and its lineup of new iPhone models. So, this time too we can expect Apple to make an announcement about iOS 13 at the WWDC 2019 and then release the final stable version of the iOS 13 probably in September 2019 However, the release of the final version of iOS 13 will be preceded by a slew of beta versions to check for performance and stability issues.

iOS 13 Wishlist: What New Features Are Expected?
Although, Apple is yet to release the stable public version of the iOS 12, details about iOS 13 have already started to surface. The company apparently had major design changes and upgrades planned for the iOS 12 but it decided to hold back the rollout of these features to the iOS 13 so that it can focus more on fixing bugs and performance issues. So we can expect a number of key changes and upgrades with the iOS 13. So, in this section, we are going to dive into the details of what we can expect from the next generation of the mobile platform and give you a sneak peek of some of the expected iOS 13 features.
Completely Redesigned Home Screen
One of the major changes that iOS 13 is expected to bring on board is a completely redesigned home screen. A very renowned source has claimed that Apple will completely redesign the home screen in iOS 13 and also bring improvements to core applications like Mail. This new layout, specially designed for iPad users will put the home screen to better use and improve the productivity. The new redesigned home screen could also feature in-app tabs to enhance multi-tasking experience of the users. This feature, if implemented on iPhone models as well would become the most prominent design change for iPhone users after a long time.
New Set of Animojis
Emojis have become an invincible part of text communication since the last few years. To it make them more personal; Apple introduced Anomjis in 2017 and this time with the iOS 13, more Animojis characters are expected to be made available. The Emoji Consortium recently released a large variety of emojis for 2019. These include new food items, animals, footwear and also a variety of faces with various face colors and hirs like white hair, black hair and bald. Since Apple is a member of the Emoji Consortium, a new set of Animojis are expected to be adopted for the iOS 13.
The support for cross-platform apps is one feature that the users have been waiting for a long time without any fruitful result till now. So we can expect Apple to finally introduce cross-platform support to iOS 13 to aid app developers. This will enable developers to create one app that will be compatible with both iOS and macOS devices and provide a smooth experience to the users on both the platforms.
Apple Pencil Improvement; A Second Generation Pencil Maybe?
Apple had introduced the Pencil alongside the Apple iPad Pro back in 2015 to work as an input device for the same. While it has not seen any major improvements in the last three years, rumors have it that Apple is working to bring an upgrade with the iOS 13. So, is a second generation Apple pencil on the cards? Quite possible!
With over a year to go for the release of iOS 13, more news about the expected features and specifications along with other details are expected to be revealed. We will update them right here in due course of time. So, stay tuned for further updates.
